I found the following spells UNSCRIBABLE:

Hold Portal
Shocking Grasp
Resist Energy
Invisibility, Greater
Fox's Cunning
Animate Dead (unsure if this is a bug or maybe the scroll was a a cleric one, unfortunately the game has no distinction between the two.)

a fan patch fixes all those spells scribing bugs (and many others).
